The Villa Kalpitiya was a peaceful and secure homestay with friendly hosts. The location was fantastic, right in front of the kite surfing lagoon and only a few minutes away from the beach. The rooms were clean and spacious, with great views from the wooden deck. The meals, especially the crab curry and BBQ night, were delicious.
Nothing could have been better.

My family’s stay at this charming, well, designed and spacious villa was fantastic. the location was peaceful and beautiful, situated on the edge of a serene lagoon. the villa was well, maintained and our rooms were clean and spacious. the staff was helpful and friendly, and the meals were delicious, with fresh seafood and other local cuisine. We enjoyed the wooden deck’s fabulous views of the sparkling lagoon, as well as the amazing BBQ night.
The pool was not well, maintained, with many leaves floating in it.

The beach was nice and the view was great. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making sure we had fresh towels and clean plates every day. We liked that the villa was secluded and away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The room was incredibly hot and uncomfortable because there was no air conditioning. The water in the shower was only cold which was not ideal considering the heat.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel in an idyllic location right by the beach. The staff was welcoming and attentive, offering delicious meals including their famous crab curry. The hotel facilities were well-maintained, with beautifully decorated and comfortable bedrooms. Additionally, the hotel was very clean, with ample parking and transportation options available. All in all, a great experience.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like. This city has seen a decrease in tourism, but this hotel offered a safe and secure compound with lots of space to relax in.

The hotel is beautifully designed and the location is perfect for those who want to relax and enjoy a quiet atmosphere. the staff is friendly and helpful, offering excellent service to make your stay unforgettable. the rooms are spacious, clean, with mosquito nets and fans provided. We loved the food, with excellent local delicacies to try. We also enjoyed the fantastic view over the lagoon and the opportunity to explore the area with ease.
There were no air conditioning, hot water, fridge or complementary water provided that may not be suitable for everyone. we missed having access to a barbecue and finding real coffee easily available.
